Ingredients

Scale

Main ingredients

  • 16 oz mushrooms, sliced (Cremini or button mushrooms recommended.)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme (Or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme.)
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, add sliced mushrooms. Drizzle with olive oil and soy sauce. Toss to coat.
  3. Add Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, fresh thyme, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Toss again to ensure seasonings cling to the mushrooms.
  4. Arrange the seasoned mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
  5. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until tender and golden-brown edges appear.

Notes

For best texture, wipe mushrooms clean with a damp paper towel instead of washing. Ensure mushrooms are in a single layer for crispiness. Shake the basket halfway through cooking for even browning.
