  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 slices bread, cubed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until it’s browned. Drain the grease.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the cubed bread, cooked sausage, cheese, and green onions to the egg mixture. Stir to combine.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the casserole is set and golden brown on top.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
