Ingredients

Scale

Main ingredients

  • 8 ounce cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tablespoon whole-grain Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried chives
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper (freshly ground is always best)
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper (just a whisper of heat)

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, plop in your softened cream cheese. Don’t be shy! Add in that whole-grain Dijon mustard.
  2. Now, let’s sprinkle in all those lovely dried herbs and spices: the chives, parsley, thyme, garlic powder, lemon juice, paprika, black pepper, and that little kick of cayenne.
  3. Grab your spoon or spatula and stir everything until it’s wonderfully combined. You want it to be smooth and creamy, with all those flavors mingling together like old friends. Take a peek – doesn’t it look delicious already?
  4. You can absolutely serve this dip right away if you’re in a pinch! The softened cream cheese makes it perfectly spreadable. Or, if you have a few minutes to spare, pop it in the fridge for about 30 minutes to let those flavors meld even more. It’ll be a little firmer, which is also fantastic.

Notes

This dip can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator. Let it sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before serving. It stays fresh for 3-4 days.
