Scale

Main ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked turkey (shredded or diced)
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough (unrolls into triangles)
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise or cream cheese (mayo for creamy, cream cheese for richer flavor)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine cooked turkey, mayonnaise or cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Unroll one package of crescent roll dough, separate triangles, and press perforations together to form a rectangle.
  4. Spread half of the turkey mixture evenly over the dough rectangle, leaving a 1-inch border.
  5. Spread half of the cranberry sauce over the turkey mixture.
  6. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the cranberry sauce.
  7. Tightly roll up the dough from the wide end towards the pointy tip.
  8. Place the rolled dough seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Gently curve the dough into a crescent shape or form a ring by bringing the ends together, tucking ends if needed.
  10. Repeat steps 3-9 with the second package of crescent roll dough and remaining filling ingredients.
  11. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
  12. Let cool slightly on the baking sheet before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a festive look, form the dough into a ring. You can also make the turkey filling a day in advance and assemble the rings unbaked for a few hours before baking.
